Church Easter Egg hunt

We had our annual eater egg hunt this year at the church. I gave a 5 minute lesson on the atonement (thank you Robert and Charity for the church art book) and then the little kids got to hunt for eggs. The older kids whent on a scripture hunt. It was pretty cool and the kids were loving it. Some of the parents didn't want to stay and wait for them to finish so they didn't get to finish their hunt. Some of them were kind of bummed. They got to finish during primary. All in all, the weather was fairly warm and we had a good time.

Sometimes Love Hurts

McKelle is such a sweet little girl. She smiles all the time and loves when anyone pays attention to her...well, almost anyone

Sage loves her so much and is constantly trying to hug on her and cuddle her. The only problem is she is much too big for the way she loves on her. It is funny, McKelle will be so happy and you can see her start to cringe when Sage comes around. She is a trooper though. She only ends in tears 40% of the time. Sage can't understand why she gets so upset. Especially when she is thrilled when Cole comes around. At least McKelle will get bigger and will be able to handle the roughness and hopefully Sage will still want to show her the affection.

Camping out

There is a tradition with the Winsors that every Friday night all the kids could sleep in the livingroom. We would get out all the sleeping bags, pick couches or sleep on the floor and sleep out. I thought Cole was old enough to start this tradition at least 1 time a month. Of course we wouldn't make him sleep alone and because of McKelle waking at night, Will was nominated to sleep out with him. Cole chose to sleep downstairs instead of the upstairs livingroom. Sage decided to sleep down with them too. They were so excited! Will put in a hunting video (cole loves to watch them "smoke the deer"). I was upstairs watching a movie and about 9:00, Sage comes up and askes me to put her to bed. Well, one casualty but the other two were hanging in there. At 11:00 I go down to kiss them goodnight and they are both crashed out. I turn off the t.v. and cover them both up. I go to bed. The heat in our den isn't as warm as the rest of the house for some reason and at 6:00 the next morning, they were up the stairs and freezing me out of my bed. They had a good time but Cole does not do well with any less sleep than normal so he was really cranky the next day. Now he always wants to camp out. I think we will change it to one time every 2 months because of his nasty temper the next day. It was very exciting for him though.

Trading up

We went to K-Mart to put Will's motorcycle in the parkig lot to sell. Later that day, a man calls because he doesn't want to buy his cycle, just trade. Will says he isn't trading. He thinks about it and then later he calls back to go look at the other bike. Sure enough it was a steal. It is like 20 years newer, 60 thousand less miles, and it can haul! The trade was straight across, title for title. So now we have a more age appropriot bike. I love it and he likes his other better but this one has more promising selling potential and we are not scared that it will break down every time we get on it. Will told me that there were only two kinds of bikers in the world, those who have Harleys and those who don't. Guess which group we are.
